Life Drawing After Death is a relaxed, studio-style drawing event centred around real wildlife specimens - skulls, specifically - presented in collaboration with a local conservation officer.
We’ll begin with a short introduction and drawing warm-up to help everyone settle in, followed by timed sketch sessions designed to encourage observation and exploration. Throughout the session, the conservation officer will share context and stories about the specimens, adding depth to what you’re seeing on the table.
No experience is required! This is about curiosity, looking closely, and enjoying the process. We’ve got pencils and paper for use, or bring your sketchbook and favourite materials. Light refreshments provided.
Note: to keep the event simple and focused, we’re not accepting outside specimens. We appreciate your understanding.
